Oni Press editor Charlie Chu stated, “Kaijumax is one of the most exciting creator owned series debuting in 2015 and we’re super excited to have Bryan O’Malley’s amazing chibi-style variant for the launch. Zander Cannon is one of the best creators in comics, with work ranging from Replacement God to Heck, and in Kaijumax we have this amazing prison comedy that just happens to be populated with giant kaiju monsters. We can’t wait for fans to get locked up in this world of tokusatsu-flavored drama and hilarity.”
