BOOM! Studios Reveals Creative Team Behind #WhoCoveredItUp Teasers.
Last week’s visual teasers from BOOM! Studios have finally been revealed. The #WhoCoveredItUp images from last week included newspaper clippings from the 1942 Roswell UFO incident, the 1962 Kennedy assassination, the 1969 moon landing, and finally a 2003 article about a secret society running the country.
Although the news broke last week on the story, BOOM! Studios sent out an official press release announcing their first project this November with Justin Jordan (Spread) in DEEP STATE.
The new ongoing series will center on U.S. government agent John Harrow, whose job includes ensuring that our countries most classified cases remain secret. The first story arc finds Harrow recruiting a new partner to assist him with damage control after a cover up is exposed about the 1969 moon landing, a conspiracy that is far more sinister than the old staged moon landing myth.
If you find conspiracy theory stories intriguing, then this graphic novel is a must read, as DEEP STATE explains how the infamous televised moon landing was in reality our third mission there. Along with the conspiracy angle, the comic mixes black book operations, spycraft, science fiction, and the individuals who hide the truth.
With illustrations from Ariela Kristantina (Death of Wolverine), cover art by Artyom Trakhanov (Undertow), and of course the story by Justin Jordan, who has committed to two more titles with the Los Angeles based publisher, more details from BOOM! Studios are expected soon.
