Breaking news out of San Francisco, CA this afternoon as five year old Miles Scott revealed to the world that he is indeed the Batkid. Miles’ day started earlier this morning where we saw him rescue a damsel in distress, save the San Francisco Giants mascot Lou Seal, and defeat both the Riddler and the Penguin who were then apprehended by local authorities. Miles even got to drive around all day in the Bat-mobile with his pal Batman as they raced through Gotham all day long fighting crime and saving lives! At the end of a long day, Miles was rewarded with the key to the city by San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee. The Batkid has received support from not just the entire San Francisco city, but the entire world, as tens of thousands have taken to social media to honor and pay tribute to the bravest boy in the world.
Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Miles Scott who is in remission from leukemia, saw San Francisco transformed into Gotham City and was able to fulfill his dream of becoming a comic book superhero. From here on out, he will be known to all as the SF Batkid. His strength, courage and spirit are exactly why Miles Scott is the hero we deserve! Follow Miles right here on Twitter.
